Join us on August 3, 2024 for
Our 11th Annual Ride

Be sure to register early to secure your spot!

The Ride this year will support Kamwenge Secondary and Vocational School in 3 ways:

  • Multi-year project to build 2 dorms for vocational students coming to the growing campus. ($140,000). As the KSVS campus continues to develop and grow, so the need for more dormitory space grows. With a new girls’ dorm and new boys’ dorm for vocational students, they school will be able to give to these older students their own living spaces, separate from the younger teens.

  • Fund scholarships for KSVS graduates for university and technical education. ($5,000). With more students graduating from KSVS, many desire to attend a university or technical school for further education. Scholarships will give these motivated students a chance to become leaders in their fields.

  • Help with general operational expenses including teacher salaries. ($20,000). As with any school, there are always needs to keep in good repair, to pay teachers fair salaries, and to take care of the day-to-day expenses.

Last year we finalized fundraising for a new state-of-art Carpentry and Metalworking Shop. Construction is well underway with completion slated for summer 2024.

Since 2014, these bike rides have raised funds for:

  • Professional Teaching Kitchen and Dining Hall

  • STEM Center

  • Girls’ dorm

  • 12-unit teachers’ residence

KSVS is becoming one of the most modern schools in Uganda whose graduates will help to transform the district of Kamwenge and the country of Uganda in coming years.
